The new Amati Kazan 3* hotel has opened in Kazan, which offers 45 modern rooms of various categories and is located in the city center, close to the main tourist attractions. The hotel has already established itself by hosting the BRICS Heads of State Summit in October 2024.

China Eastern Airlines announces the continuation of flights from Shanghai to Kazan and an increase in their number from spring 2025. The airline's passengers enjoy a special loyalty program, Eastern Miles, with access to new services.

At the final meeting of the Board of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism, the results of work for 2024 were summed up. According to forecast data, 4.4 million tourists visited Tatarstan in 2024, and the volume of services in the tourism sector and related industries exceeded the mark of 100 billion rubles. The key tasks for the further development of the tourism industry were also announced.

During the New Year holidays, the Republic of Tatarstan attracted a significant number of tourists. The Kazan Kremlin turned out to be the most popular place to visit, showing an increase in the number of tourists. Interest has also increased in other attractions, including Veliky Bolgar and the island-city of Sviyazhsk, as well as winter resorts.

A new For-rest glamping has opened in the Verkhneuslonsky district of Tatarstan, offering holidays in cozy houses on the first coastline of the Sviyagi River with a variety of amenities and activities. The project received comprehensive support for the purchase of modular non-cable accommodation facilities, beach improvement and purchase of tourist equipment within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry". 

The Republic of Tatarstan took the 3rd place in the Index of Tourist Attractiveness of Russian regions, developed on the basis of 50 indicators covering a wide range of topics, including infrastructure development and the region's online representation.

Meet Global MICE Congress: BRICS Edition brought together representatives of business tourism from the BRICS countries and the Global South. The delegation from Tatarstan also took part and shared their experience of holding business events.

Tatarstan has named the winners of the republican award "Good Tatarstan", which celebrates the best volunteers and organizations in the region. One of the nominations is "Volunteer of the Year in the field of tourism", the winner of which is also known.
