In preparation for the BRICS Heads of State Summit in Kazan, events were held to update the number of hotels in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. Rooms of the highest category in 21 hotels have been prepared for the reception of high-ranking guests.

The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism, together with Air Arabia, is conducting an advertising and information tour in the Republic of Tatarstan for bloggers from the UAE with an audience of more than 1 million subscribers. The purpose of the blog tour is to attract the tourist flow to the Republic of Tatarstan from friendly foreign countries, in particular from the United Arab Emirates.

The glamping map of the Republic of Tatarstan has been updated with a new project — glamping "Bely Yar", which began its work in Laishevsky district, just 50 meters from the village of Semruk. The opening of the glamping was made possible thanks to a state subsidy within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry".

Tour operators and journalists arrived in Tatarstan on the first flight of the China Eastern Airlines on an advertising and information tour. The info tour was organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism in order to familiarize representatives of the tourist community and residents of Shanghai with the Republic of Tatarstan, its sights, culture and traditions.

Today, the opening of a flight from China's largest financial and cultural center, Shanghai, took place at Kazan International Airport named after G.Tukai. 

This weekend, a new historical festival "Bolgar. A journey into the past" will take place on the territory of Bolgar reserve museum. The event is supported by the National Tourism and Hospitality Industry Project. For two days, 10 venues will be open for guests, where everyone will be able to plunge into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.

The training program "Hospitality. Reboot-2024. BRICS" gathered about 1,200 people over two days: managers and line staff of hotels and restaurants, tour guides, museum staff and tour operators. They are told about how the summit will be held and are taught how to receive high-ranking guests.

Urman Сamp glamping, which was the very first to open in Tatarstan back in 2020, this year, with the state support of the national Tourism and Hospitality Industry project, expanded by 5 new comfortable modular non-capital accommodation facilities. The subsidy funds were used for the purchase and installation of new houses, and within the framework of the project, the entrepreneur conducted communications and landscaped the territory with its own funds.

The glamping map of the Republic of Tatarstan has been replenished with another project thanks to a state subsidy within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry". A new themed glamping Elki has opened its doors in the Zelenodolsk district of the republic, a 40-minute drive from Kazan. The subsidy was provided for the purchase and installation of modular non-capital accommodation facilities, the entrepreneur himself also contributed to the landscaping and communications to the houses.

For the 15th year in a row, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism, together with the ANCO "Assembly of Tourist Volunteers of the Republic of Tatarstan", has conducted an information project "Hospitable Kazan" for the comfort of tourists. During the three summer months, tourist volunteers worked in the busiest points of the city and told the guests about the sights of Tatarstan, advised on where to go on an excursion, where to try Tatar cuisine and answered many other questions. Over the summer, about 45 thousand tourists asked for help from the volunteers.
