SUNNYFEST Festival of Creative Sleds |
Sleds of various shapes and sizes come here from all cities of the republic and even other regions of Russia. III sports and historical festival "Kysh Batyr. Not just the Winter Games" |
Ski racing and historical biathlon competitions among different age categories will be held at the festival site, and the winners of the ski races will be determined in 16 categories. Tatar national holiday "Sabantuy" |
The celebration takes place in three stages. Uchuk Festival of the Chuvash People of Zakamye |
The festival has been held annually since 2006 on the last Saturday of June. During the festival, not far from the festival site, the elders of the village cook traditional porridge with spring water. Then there are special prayers asking for rain for the crops. After the prayer service, the prepared ritual porridge of rain is distributed to all those present. |

Republican Udmurt holiday "Gyron Bydton" |
The holiday is traditionally held after the completion of spring plowing and sowing of spring crops, before haymaking. The guests of the festival are treated to ritual porridge, which is cooked over bonfires. The national drink, kumyshka, is supposed to be drunk by guests from a bowl attached to the end of a staff held in the hands of the hostess. The guest does not touch the bowl and staff with his hands, so he has to drink "to the bottom". |

The Republican holiday of Slavic culture "Ivan Kupala" |
"Ivan Kupala" is a folk festival of the Eastern Slavs, dedicated to the summer solstice and the highest flowering of nature. The holiday recreates the traditional Kupala rituals – weaving wreaths, fortune–telling on wreaths, decorating the Kupala birch tree, lighting the Kupala bonfire and jumping over it. Interactive platforms, a fair of handicrafts, and workshops on wreath-making, amulets, dolls, and talismans are open for the participants of the holiday. |

The festival has been held since 2011. It bears the name of the famous Russian composer, author of more than a hundred symphonic works Sofia Gubaidullina. The main focus of the festival is contemporary music. Traditionally, Sofia Gubaidullina's own creations are also heard at the festival. |

Kyshdakar-Fest |
The New Year's Festival opens its doors at the end of December and continues throughout the New Year holidays. Elegant houses are traditionally installed near the main city Christmas tree at the Kazan Family Center. Everyone can taste unusual delicacies, appreciate the national cuisine, buy souvenirs and take part in culinary master classes.
