The Tugan Avylym National Complex (translated from Tatar as "native village"), located in the heart of Kazan, not far from the Ekiyat Puppet Theater on Tufan Minnullin Street, announces the opening of a new tourist season with many exciting programs and events. The complex is a stylized Tatar village with wooden houses decorated with carved work, a mill, a bathhouse and a mosque, offering a unique atmosphere and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich culture of Tatarstan.
The main highlight will be the new "Big Sabantuy" program, during which participants will be divided into teams and take part in traditional contests: running with spoons, yoke , tug of war and much more. The event includes not only active games, but also an introduction to the history of Sabantuy and a master class in Tatar dance.
The interactive tour "Alfiya Avzalova's Music Lounge" will also start, where guests will be able to learn about the life and work of the famous Tatar singer Alfiya Avzalova, the peculiarities of Tatar music and folk instruments. The tour will end with an invitation to a tea party with the national dish peremach, prepared according to Alfiya's own recipe.
In addition, the team of the complex is preparing to launch the audio guide "A walk through Tugan Avylym". As part of this tour, guests will be able to learn more about the history of the complex, its unique locations, everyday life and gastronomy of the Kazan Tatars using individual headphones and an audio device. The guide is available in three languages: Russian, Tatar and English.
The creation and development of tourist complexes in Tatarstan, revealing the distinctive culture and flavor of the Tatar people, actively attracts travelers. This corresponds to the goals of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry", which aims to increase the number of domestic trips in Russia to 140 million by 2030.
