Expansion of China Eastern Airlines flight program: flights from Shanghai to Kazan will become more frequent
China Eastern Airlines announces the continuation of flights from Shanghai to Kazan and an increase in their number from spring 2025. The airline's passengers enjoy a special loyalty program, Eastern Miles, with access to new services.
China Eastern Airlines has announced the extension and expansion of its flight program from Shanghai to Kazan for the 2025 summer season. Starting from March 20, flights will fly three times a week: on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
The development of Tatarstan's transport accessibility actively contributes to increasing the incoming tourist flow to the republic, as it creates favorable conditions for Chinese residents to travel to Kazan. Let us recall that China is one of the priority foreign markets for Tatarstan to attract tourists. The work aimed at developing this area contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" to increase the export of travel services three times by 2030.
In addition, flights to China and other countries for business and leisure travel will also become more accessible to residents of Tatarstan. Starting from December 17, 2024, Russians can use visa-free transit through Shanghai for up to 240 hours (10 days) when traveling to third countries.
New facilities are provided for China Eastern Airlines passengers participating in the Eastern Miles loyalty program. Business class passengers will receive a free shuttle service up to 60 km from Beijing Daxing airport, the opportunity to book a high-speed train ticket to the airport and book a hotel through the airline's app. All passengers will also be able to use on-board Wi-Fi and upgrade the class of service at the check-in desk, which will make their trips more comfortable.
