Tour operators from the UAE visited Tatarstan in order to get acquainted with the tourism potential of the region. As part of an information tour organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism and partners, the guests got acquainted with the sights of Kazan and the surrounding area, including UNESCO sites, appreciated the gastronomic diversity and the possibilities of rural recreation.

A delegation from Tajikistan visited Kazan to strengthen tourism cooperation. During the meeting, the possibilities of spa and mountain tourism in Tajikistan were discussed, and an information tour for Tatarstan tour operators in Dushanbe is also planned.  

Rustam Minnikhanov, the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, led a delegation to Hanoi to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam. The key points were the meeting with the Prime Minister of Vietnam, who stressed the importance of the strategic partnership between the two countries. Tatarstan's tourism potential was also presented during the trip.

Nordwind and Belavia have signed a cooperation agreement, making Kazan airport one of the key transit hubs between Russia and Belarus. Passengers are guaranteed convenient connections without re-check-in and baggage overloading, as well as the opportunity to stay in Kazan for up to 36 hours.

Moscow hosts the MITT International Exhibition, where Tatarstan presents its tourism potential. At the Visit Tatarstan stand, more than 40 companies, including museums, nature reserves, hotels, sanatoriums, tour operators, as well as representatives of the entertainment industry, demonstrate the diversity of tourist opportunities in the region.

A new AK BARS Golf & Resort hotel has opened on the banks of the Volga River, near Kazan, combining the convenience of location and rural comfort. The complex offers a wide range of services, from modern rooms to a restaurant, spa and outdoor activities. For those who like active recreation, they offer yacht and boat rentals, as well as a game of golf at the Ak Bars Golf Club course.

ANO National Priorities and the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia have announced the launch of the international video contest "Russia through your Eyes", which aims to promote the tourist diversity of Russia among domestic and foreign audiences.

On March 1, the republican festival of Slavic culture "Shirokaya Maslenitsa" will be held in the Black Lake Park in Kazan. Guests will enjoy a rich program with performances by creative teams, a craft fair, master classes, Maslenitsa treats, interactive playgrounds and a folk dance.

In 2024, air traffic in Tatarstan was actively developing: new flights appeared, which led to an increase in passenger traffic. The key factor is the partnership of Kazan International Airport with the North Wind Airline, aimed at expanding the route network and increasing the tourist attractiveness of the region.

Two new comfortable modular rooms have appeared at the Kasakin country estate recreation center in the Tukayevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, created with state support as part of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry". There are special reservoirs equipped with all the necessary conditions for comfortable fishing.
