The journalists of the republican and federal media were introduced to the sanatoriums in which rehabilitation programs after coronavirus infection have been launched. The press tour took place on February 25-26.

The press tour of the sanatoriums of Tatarstan was conducted by the Association of sanatoriums of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the State Committee for Tourism.

The first was shown the sanatorium “Raduga”, where the journalists studied the sanatorium, examined the number of rooms, saw the medical base and asked dozens of questions about the conditions, prices and content of recreation and rehabilitation programs in the sanatorium.

Then the journalists visited “Zhemchuzhina” and “Kosmos” sanatoriums.

Artel and Charem restaurants were included in the TOP-50 of the best restaurants in Russia according to the National Restaurant Award WHERETOEAT RUSSIA 2021. They were in 46th and 47th places, respectively. In the Top 50, in addition to Kazan, there were restaurants from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar and Rostov, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Sochi and Krasnoyarsk.

Note that the ReLab Bar was also included in the shortlist of the best bars in Russia.

The grand ceremony of the WHERETOEAT TATARSTAN 2020 award was held on October 28th at the Kazan Palace by Tasigo hotel and brought together the entire color of the republic's restaurant community.

The highest line of the republican rating, as in 2019, was taken by the “Bachelor's Shelter” by restaurateur Sergey Tulisov.

The second place is again at the “Pir” restaurant, the third ‒ at “Marusovka”.

In some nominations, a year later, the laureates have changed completely. The main panel of experts named Rustam Rakhimov, the chief of “Marusovka”, Chef of the Year.

Alexey Golev from “Enoteca S” became the Sommelier of the Year. “Chirem” was recognized as the best restaurant of Tatar cuisine this year, and the traditional Special Media Prize went to the bistro “Artel” (chef ‒ Bulat Ibragimov).

In the new nomination ‒ “Best Bar” ‒ the well-deserved trophy was awarded to the ReLab team, headed by Artur Galaychuk.

The most innovative project of the year (special nomination from the Technoflot company) was recognized the “Artel” restaurant.

Charter flights to Tatarstan are planned to be launched in the new summer season in 2021. This was announced by the head of “Rostourism” Zarina Doguzova at an online press conference at Interfax.

“For the summer season, we are working with the TUI tour operator on new charter directions to Tatarstan. This is a wonderful region with an excellent comfortable urban environment,” said the speaker.

A seminar on the development of industrial tourism in Tatarstan was held today in the city of Naberezhnye Chelny.

Participants of the event are travel companies and industrial enterprises of the republic interested in the development of industrial tourism. During the seminar, the methodology for the development of industrial tourism for Russian regions, developed by ASI, was presented, the best practices for the implementation of industrial tourism in Russia were shown, and recommendations were given for the development of this area.

“The list includes 29 border checkpoints. In particular, these are international airports in Belgorod, Volgograd, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don, Samara and St. Petersburg,” the Cabinet of Ministers said on its website.

About 20 thousand spectators has visited the Festival of Medieval Battle "The Great Bolgar” for the time of its holding, the organizers report.

The event took place the last week-end, 26-27 September, in the Bulgarian State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve. This year the organizers have made entry to the festival free of charge. The festival involved thematic areas arranged by the organizers, including a tiltyard, a trade fair of medieval crafts and artisanal handicraft, a space for master classes, a gastronomic area, an area for concert and medieval dances, performance of folk music groups and a “historical camp”.

Over two days the guests of the region will visit oil facilities: the Training Center for Tatneft, where they will see the whole process of oil extraction and treatment at the Plant of Complete Cycle Processes. On the second day, they can visit Oil Museum Park in Leninogorsk district and see the running beam-pumped well of the Romashkinskoye field and the monument for discoverers of oil in Tartary.

On 29 September, three-day course “Three Pillars of the Catering Trade” is to start in Kazan with support from the Tourism State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Kazan and the Republic of Tatarstan.

Training will be held in the Center of Modern Culture “Smena” by three main modules: management, marketing and staff management.
