A blog tour for Kuwaiti bloggers with a total audience of over one million subscribers is taking place in Tatarstan, organized by the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Committee for Tourism of the City of Moscow and the Committee for Tourism Development of St. Petersburg in order to demonstrate the tourism opportunities of the Republic.

Tour operators from Iran were presented with the tourist opportunities of the Republic of Tatarstan, including excursions to Kazan and other regions of the republic. Kazan's convenient location and transport infrastructure were noted, making it possible to combine visits to Tatarstan with trips to Moscow and St. Petersburg.

From July 2, 2025, Mahan Air will launch direct flights Kazan — Tehran — Kazan twice a week. The agreement was reached during negotiations between the delegation of Tatarstan and Mahan Air with the support of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Kazan and Isfahan have strengthened their cooperation by signing a cooperation agreement. Within the framework of this agreement, a presentation of the tourism potential of Isfahan province for tour operators of the Republic of Tatarstan took place.

As part of the intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Iran providing for a visa-free regime for group tours, 11 Tatarstan tour operators have received permission to organize such tours in the period from 2025 to 2026.

A session dedicated to the development of inbound tourism in Russia was held within the framework of the Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum 2025 forum. It discussed how to make our country more attractive for foreign tourists, including from Muslim countries. Tatarstan shared its experience, and representatives of other regions and experts presented their ideas and best practices. The event was held as part of the "Discover Your Russia" program.

Tatarstan has developed and presented the halal Nature's Embrace tourist route specifically for Arab tourists. The route is included in the Time to travel catalog created by Discover Russia for the Arab market, and offers an immersion in Tatarstan's nature and culture, including visits to Kazan, glamping, various entertainment options, and halal cuisine.

The list of tour operators has been approved, which from May 1, 2025 will be able to organize visa-free group tourist trips between Russia and China within the framework of the existing intergovernmental agreement dated February 29, 2000.

The Republic of Tatarstan presented its tourism potential to Chinese tour operators in Shanghai by offering a three-day tour. The program includes an introduction to Kazan, a cruise to Sviyazhsk, as well as opportunities for outdoor activities and visits to historical sites. 

Tour operators from the UAE visited Tatarstan in order to get acquainted with the tourism potential of the region. As part of an information tour organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism and partners, the guests got acquainted with the sights of Kazan and the surrounding area, including UNESCO sites, appreciated the gastronomic diversity and the possibilities of rural recreation.
