Nordwind and Belavia have signed a cooperation agreement, making Kazan airport one of the key transit hubs between Russia and Belarus. Passengers are guaranteed convenient connections without re-check-in and baggage overloading, as well as the opportunity to stay in Kazan for up to 36 hours.

The Russian airline Nordwind Airlines and the Belarusian airline Belavia have signed an agreement that will significantly expand the opportunities for passengers traveling between Russia and Belarus. Kazan Gabdulla Tukai International Airport will become a key transfer hub within the framework of this cooperation.

Residents of Novokuznetsk, Barnaul, Kemerovo, Ulan-Ude, Irkutsk and other cities of Russia, as well as Tajikistan – Bishkek and Khujand, will have the opportunity to conveniently get to Minsk via Kazan. In turn, residents of Belarus will be able to fly to the cities of Siberia and the Urals using Kazan airport as a transit point.

In addition, passengers will not need to re–register for a flight or worry about luggage - all formalities will be resolved at the first stage, and luggage will be automatically reloaded on the second flight.

As part of the tariff, guests can stay in Kazan for up to 36 hours, which will allow them to explore the sights of the city.

Kazan Airport has become the third in Russia through which Belavia cooperates with a Russian airline. The expansion of the route network contributes to an increase in passenger traffic to the Republic of Tatarstan and the development of tourism within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality".
