Tour operators from the UAE assessed Tatarstan's tourism potential: from historical monuments to outdoor recreation
Tour operators from the UAE visited Tatarstan in order to get acquainted with the tourism potential of the region. As part of an information tour organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism and partners, the guests got acquainted with the sights of Kazan and the surrounding area, including UNESCO sites, appreciated the gastronomic diversity and the possibilities of rural recreation.
A delegation of tour operators from the United Arab Emirates has arrived in Kazan to explore the Republic of Tatarstan and its tourism opportunities. The info tour, organized by the Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism in cooperation with the federal tour operator Fun&Sun and Air Arabia, is aimed at attracting tourists from the UAE and strengthening Tatarstan's position in the international market.
As part of an extensive program, tour operators from the UAE toured the historical center of Kazan and visited the Kazan Kremlin, where they appreciated the splendor of the Kul Sharif Mosque and other historical sites. They also got acquainted with Tatar culture in restaurants of national cuisine and the center of master classes "Abyy Sabyy".
The guests especially noted the possibilities of spa relaxation at the Luciano Hotel & SPA, the DoubleTree by Hilton Kazan City Hotel, located in the heart of Kazan, in close proximity to the main attractions.
Special attention was paid to the gastronomic experience. The tour operators tasted traditional Tatar cuisine, got acquainted with the seafood and appreciated the modern interpretation of culinary traditions.
The continuation of exploring the region was a visit to the island-city of Sviyazhsk, where tour operators enjoyed the picturesque nature and unique atmosphere, and also visited the one-of-a-kind Museum of the archaeological tree, learning a lot about the history of the region.
Taking into account the love of the inhabitants of Arab countries for nature, the guests were presented with country recreation facilities: the Sviyaga Country Club, the Utrau complex and AK BARS Golf & Resort. At the end of the program, the delegation visited the Pacha Mama Park, where they met cute alpacas.

Promotion in priority foreign markets is an important activity of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism in order to achieve the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" to increase the export of tourist services.
