The speakers also talked about the preferences and expectations of Iranian tourists coming to Tatarstan. An important factor is the availability of products and restaurants that meet Halal standards. When planning a vacation, it is important to take into account the availability of playgrounds, entertainment centers, water parks and other places for children, since most often they travel with large families.
As part of the intergovernmental agreement between Russia and Iran providing for a visa-free regime for group tourist trips, 11 Tatarstan tour operators have already received permission to organize such tours in the period from 2025 to 2026.
This opens up new opportunities for the development of tourist exchange between Tatarstan and Iran, which contributes to the achievement of one of the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" to increase the export of travel services three times by 2030.
