Tatarstan presented its tourism opportunities to tour operators from Iran
Tour operators from Iran were presented with the tourist opportunities of the Republic of Tatarstan, including excursions to Kazan and other regions of the republic. Kazan's convenient location and transport infrastructure were noted, making it possible to combine visits to Tatarstan with trips to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Representatives of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan spoke in detail about the various travel packages offered by hotels of various categories and a wide range of leisure opportunities. Special attention was paid to sightseeing tours of Kazan, including visits to historical and cultural attractions.
Additional entertainment options were presented to tour operators from Iran, which may become part of the tour package. Among them: a visit to the island-city of Sviyazhsk on a river boat, a visit to the alpaca park, an aquapark, the Mazapark entertainment center, as well as exciting gastronomic tours, hot air balloon rides and a visit to the circus. In addition, the attractiveness of outdoor recreation was demonstrated, especially in winter, when the region offers a variety of winter activities.
Tatarstan representatives noted Kazan's convenient geographical location and well-developed transport infrastructure, which allows Iranian tourists to easily combine visits to Tatarstan with other major Russian cities such as St. Petersburg and Moscow. Also, within the framework of the Great Volga Way project, the possibility of visiting neighboring Yoshkar-Ola was mentioned, which expands tourist routes for guests from Iran.
The development of international cooperation and the establishment of links between the tour operator community is aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" to increase the export of travel services three times by 2030.
