The Great Volga Way is an interregional tour taking place in three regions of the Volga region – Tatarstan, Chuvashia and Mari El. For tourists, this is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the sights, ethnic flavor and cuisines of the three national republics in one trip. The nearest tour dates are August 30 – September 2, September 13-16 and September 27-30.
On August 21-22, 2024, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the All-Russian bar award WHERE2DRINK RUSSIAN BAR AWARDS, in which establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan were awarded. The Federal State Statistics Service has published updated data on the volume of tourist flow for 2023, according to which the tourist flow to Tatarstan amounted to 4.2 million people by the end of 2023.
