Tatarstan's sights are included in the list of the most unusual places in Russia

Six Tatarstan attractions were included in the top of the most unusual places in Russia according to Yandex.Maps. The list includes the Semruk film village, Petropavlovsky Cathedral, the Tatar Manor hotel and restaurant complex, the Oil Museum in Shugurovo, the Assumption Cathedral in Sviyazhsk and the Bulgarian Museum Reserve. All objects are selected based on user ratings and neural network data.

Yandex.Maps analysts have compiled a rating of 380 of the most unusual tourist sites in the country, selecting them from tens of thousands of options based on high user ratings, from 4.5 points, and the number of reviews. This list includes six sights of Tatarstan at once, each of which is unique in its own way.

The list includes the film village of Semruk in the Laishevsky district of Tatarstan, known for filming the TV series "Zuleikha opens her eyes." The Petropavlovsky Cathedral in Kazan with its seven-tiered iconostasis and Baroque stucco is also included in the rating.

Among the selected facilities is the Tatar Manor hotel and restaurant complex, located in a former manor house. The Sabitovs in Staro-Tatarskaya Sloboda on the shore of Lake Kaban, as well as the Oil Museum in Shugurovo, built on the site of the Shugurovsky bitumen refinery, demonstrating the oil production process.

In addition, two iconic objects were added to the list.: Uspensky Cathedral on the island-city of Sviyazhsk with its unique frescoes and the Bulgarian Museum-Reserve are evidence of the ancient history of Volga Bulgaria.
