Top 10 best restaurants of the republic announced in Tatarstan
The best restaurants of 2025 were named in Kazan. The WHEREETOEAT Tatarstan National Award ceremony was held in the IT Park, where the top 50 gastronomic establishments of the republic and the winners in special nominations were determined.
On October 29, 2025, Kazan hosted the VII WHERETOEAT Tatarstan Restaurant Award ceremony. The solemn event was held in the Bashir Rameev IT Park with the support of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism.
The WHERETOEAT Independent Restaurant Award was established in 2013 by the Association of Russian Gastronomic Journalists. The final lists are formed based on the results of a secret ballot by a broad panel of experts – professionals in the restaurant, hotel and wine business, as well as the most reputable representatives of the specialized press.
At the ceremony, the rating of the 50 best gastronomic establishments of Tatarstan was announced, as well as the winners in special nominations, including "The best restaurant of Tatar cuisine", "Chef of the Year", "Bar of the Year", "Sommelier of the Year", "Pastry Chef of the Year", "Media Choice", "Restaurant with the best beer card" and "Waiter of the Year" according to the version of the Sberbank card service.
For the first time in the region, an award was presented in the premiere nomination from fashion partner TSUM - "Female Chef of the Year". The new category was established to promote women's leadership in gastronomy and is designed to celebrate the outstanding contribution of female chefs to the industry.
