Tatarstan is recognized as a leader in the development of family tourism at the All-Russian award
Tatarstan received five awards at once, including the Grand Prix, at the All-Russian Regions of Tourism and Hospitality Award ceremony. The republic was noted not only as the best region for holidays with children, but also received awards for the development of park, event and business tourism.
The award ceremony of the V All-Russian Award "Regions of Tourism and Hospitality" took place in St. Petersburg. The Republic of Tatarstan has demonstrated outstanding success in the development of the tourism industry, winning several awards at once, including the main prize in one of the nominations.
The republic was awarded the highest award — the Grand Prix - in the nomination "Region of family tourism and recreation". This is a recognition of Tatarstan's leadership in creating a high-quality and diverse infrastructure for traveling with children.
In addition, Tatarstan was among the winners in other categories:
· 2nd place in the nomination "Park Tourism region"
· 3rd place in the nominations "Region of event tourism", "Region of convention and exhibition activities", "Region of Health tourism"
· special diploma for "The best tourism marketing in the region"
The Award, which is the flagship project of the Russia Inspires Travel ecosystem, serves as a platform for identifying best practices and setting new standards in the travel industry. Participation and victories in it allow the regions to demonstrate their achievements, get a professional assessment and strengthen their position on the tourist map of the country.
The award was organized by the St. Petersburg Tourism Development Committee, the City Tourism Information Bureau, FROS Region PR and Consulting Tour LLC.
