Kazan hotels are ready to receive high-ranking guests of the BRICS Summit

In preparation for the BRICS Heads of State Summit in Kazan, events were held to update the number of hotels in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. Rooms of the highest category in 21 hotels have been prepared for the reception of high-ranking guests.

58 hotels of Kazan with 6,616 rooms are planned to be used to accommodate client groups during the BRICS Summit. Before the start of work on the renovation of the room stock, presidential rooms were only in 8 hotels in the city, in the process of preparation such rooms were equipped in 14 more.

At the moment, there are rooms of the highest category in 21 hotels: LUCIANO 5*, Korston Royal 5*, Kazan Palace by TASIGO 5*, Mirage 5*, RELITA-KAZAN 4*, Riviera 4*, Chaliapin Carpet 4* Hotel, Giuseppe 4*, Courtyard by Marriott Kazan Kremlin 4*, Cosmos Kazan Hotel, DoubleTree by Hilton Kazan City Center 4*, Suleiman Palace Hotel 4*, Khyal 4*, Ramada Kazan City Center, Bilyar Palace Hotel 4*,Nogai 4*, Grand Hotel Kazan 4*, Novinka 3*, Mano 3*, Kristall 3*. Additional luxury rooms were created in one of the hotels of the Regina 3* hotel complex chain (11 Peterburgskaya St.).

The presidential rooms consist of a living room, an office, a bedroom and a kitchen. The area of such rooms, depending on the hotel, ranges from 100 to 250 sq.m. The hotels also have from 5 to 15 suites to accommodate high-ranking guests accompanying the head of the foreign delegation.

The hotel staff is ready to receive foreign citizens: each has an English-speaking staff, and in 20 hotels the staff speaks other foreign languages.

The work on increasing the number of rooms and improving the quality of services provided in hotels in the Republic of Tatarstan corresponds to the objectives of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality industry". According to Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan: "One of the main objectives of the national project is to increase the export of tourist services. We understand that the improved infrastructure will be in demand not only among Russian guests, but also foreign ones. A particularly large increase in tourists has been noticed among the countries of the Persian Gulf and Asian countries. Judging by their requests, they primarily focus on high-end rooms.".
