Tourist potential of Tatarstan has been represented in Kuwait

On the 9th of April the Republic of Tatarstan participated in a number of events organized by the National Marketing Center Visit Russia in Kuwait. The press-conference was attended by Aleksey Solomatin, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Kuwait and Mr. Basel al Aswad, Head of Visit Russia office in Kuwait.

Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, pronounced a welcoming speech and invited the guests from Kuwait to visit Tatarstan.

During the Gala-dinner held in the evening for the tour operators the participants from Tatarstan made a presentation of tourist potential of the republic to the guests. The event was attended by over 70 Kuwait tour operators. Apart from Tatarstan, the representatives of Krasnodar region, the Republic of Crimea, the cities of Moscow, Sochi, and Rostov-on-Don presented their tourist potential.
