“Intourmarket 2017” Exhibition is Closing in IEC “Crocus Expo”

The 12th International Tourism Exhibition “Intourmarket 2017”, where Tatarstan has been represented by 18 participants at the joint stand, is meeting deadline in Moscow. Among them were representatives of the Republic of Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism, Elabuga State Museum-Reserve, Sviyazhsk Island, Veliky Bolgar town, Kazan Tourist Information Center, “Kazan Kremlin” Museum-Reserve, as well as representatives of hotels and tour operators involved in domestic and inbound tourism. Having opened the exhibition, Vladimir Medinsky, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, noted domestic tourism level growth by 10% in 2016, ”In terms of tourist flow growth Tatarstan, Altai and Krasnodar Territory are designated to the leading regions in addition to St. Petersburg and Moscow”.
