Guests to be learned to prepare different national cuisines dishes at the festival “Tasty Kazan”

From 8th to 10th of July there will be held the second gastronomical festival “Tasty Kazan” in the capital of Tatarstan. The longest pastry straws are going to be cooked at this festival among other things. The Deputy of the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism Liana Sayetova and Deputy Mayor of Kazan Evgeniya Lodvigova, acting Director of the Committee for Tourism Development of the capital of Tatarstan Darya Sannikova, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of restaurateurs and hoteliers of Kazan and Republic of Tatarstan Zufar Gayazov.told in details about the program of the festival at the conference of the “Tatar-inform” news agency.

Liana Sayetova mentioned that lots of events for habitants and guests of the republic are organized in Kazan in these latter days. The gastronomical festival “Tasty Kazan” would unlock the potential of the Tatar ethnic cuisine and attract new tourists within a few days.

As explained by the Deputy of the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism the festival is already held for the second year. Last year it was held during the holidays in May and had an experimental character. This year it was decided to organize it not being connected to the holidays. It would allow to distribute tourist flow as well as to attract tourists to other events.

The festival will be open tomorrow, on the 8th of July, on the bank of the lake Kaban at 17:00.
