The exhibition "Traditions of the winter holidays"

Until the 25 of January at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan continues its work the exhibition "traditions of winter gift". The visitors will be told about how did the tradition of decorating the Christmas tree, a festive table cover and prepare the gifts for the New year. Visitors will be able to see how celebrated the holiday a hundred years ago. In addition, guests will learn more about such as the Nardugan celebrations, Nowruz and Boxing day. Special attention should be paid to the exhibits that is dedicated to the Nativity and the traditions of celebration in Russia and Europe, including vintage Christmas decorations and cards.
A separate part of the exhibition of Soviet New year: there is a display of pioneer memorabilia, the interior apartments of the era. For the little ones also prepared a separate submission.
