Four events aimed at developing tourism in the Republic of Tatarstan will receive subsidies following a competitive selection process in 2026. With the support of the national Tourism and Hospitality project, festivals will be held this summer in Veliky Bolgar and the Vysokogorsky district.
In 2026, residents and guests of the Republic of Tatarstan will have a summer full of festivals. Four events will take place in the region and received state support as part of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality."
One of the winners was the festival, which consists of two thematically related events. It will be held in Veliky Bolgar. Its first part will be held from July 11 to July 14 - this is the All-Russian Kite and Aircraft Modeling Festival “Dreamers”. The Beginning", the program of which includes a kite parade, aircraft modeling competitions, master classes and a spectacular evening fire and light show.
And the second part will be held from July 16 to 19 - the All-Russian Aeronautics Festival "Dreamers", where guests will enjoy a team assembly of balloon models, balloon flights, quests, lectures, photo zones, as well as a light music, fire show and balloon dance.
On August 8-9, the International Medieval Combat Festival "The Great Bulgarian" will be held, where viewers will see historical medieval combat tournaments, attend a thematic fair and a folk art fair, and will also be able to participate in master classes, quests and lectures.
From August 21 to 23, the Vysokogorsky district will host the International Ethnic Festival "Krutushka", which will feature ethnomusicological, dance and culinary venues, exhibitions, craft workshops, children's programs, a folk theater and a lecture hall. The main event of the festival is a photo session for rare cameras of the 19th century and a dance competition.
