The delegation of Kyrgyzstan, which arrived in the capital of Tatarstan to participate in the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: Kazanforum", held a separate meeting with Kazan travel agents. The event, organized by Silk Way Travel with the support of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, was dedicated to the presentation of the republic's tourism potential and new routes for the 2026 season.

The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism hosted a presentation of the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, organized by Silk Way Travel travel company with the support of the Consulate General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazan and partner DagTur LLC. The event brought together Kazan travel agents interested in expanding cooperation with Kyrgyz partners.

The visit of the delegation from Kyrgyzstan was timed to coincide with the participation in the XVII International Economic Forum "Russia - the Islamic World: Kazanforum".

Eric Beishembiev, Consul General of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kazan, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. Vice Consul Mukhabat Ismailova also took part in the event.

Kazan travel agents received detailed information about tours, prices, terms of cooperation, and were also able to ask all their questions directly to representatives of the company and the consulate.

Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, noted that the presence of a well-developed flight network makes Kyrgyzstan not only accessible for travel, but also a convenient transit hub to other countries. This is equally relevant for tourists from Kazan planning trips through Kyrgyzstan, as well as for guests traveling in transit to Kazan, which corresponds to one of the key objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" - to increase the export of tourist services by 2030.
