Development of international cooperation will strengthen Russian-Chinese relations - Rustam Minnikhanov
Development of cooperation is a reliable mechanism for the strengthening of strategic Russian-Chinese relations. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said it at a meeting of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and Vice-premier of the State Council of China Wang Yan with the heads of regions and companies of Russia and China. The meeting was held in the framework of the II Russian-Chinese Expo in Harbin (China).
It is important to develop cooperation in many spheres, also in tourism. A new tourist route to Kazan was created In cooperation with the Agency for International Tourism in China. According to Rustam Minnikhanov, opening of direct flights between Kazan and Chinese cities could increase tourist traffic.
President of Tatarstan thanked for the invitation and urged the Chinese partners to further cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan.
Opening ceremony of the Russian exposition was held earlier in the Harbin exhibition and congress center. Dmitry Rogozin and Rustam Minnikhanov visited the exhibition. Presentation of the industrial potential of the republic was made at the stand of Tatarstan, in particular, achievements and new projects of the Kazan Helicopter Plant were presented.
