Important information for tour operators planning to receive tourists from China
The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism collects data from travel organizations to organize a visa-free exchange of tourists from Russia and China.
To form a list of tour operators who will be able to organize visa-free group trips to China in 2026-2027, the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan is collecting the necessary information from travel organizations. The work is carried out within the framework of Agreements between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Governments of the People's Republic of China. Tour operators need:
By November 28, 2025, to provide:
- generalized information about the travel organization according to the form of Appendix 1 (China) (in Word format) by e-mail.varlamova@tatar.ru (all information should be provided in Russian and English);
In the period from 01 to 02 December 2025, provide:
- original samples of the seal impression in the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism (Kazan, M.Gorky str., 19, office 3);
- send it to the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism (Kazan, M.Gorky str., 19, office 4) the following package of documents (originals):
- an application for the implementation of activities within the framework of the An intergovernmental agreement indicating the name, organizational and legal form and location of the tourism organization (sample 1);
- a document certifying that the travel organization and (or) its counterparties operating in the country (place) of temporary stay have the resources, forces and means necessary to ensure the personal safety of tourists who are citizens of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as tourists), the safety of their property, and unhindered access by tourists to medical and legal assistance and other types of emergency care at all points in the country (location) of temporary stay (sample 2);
- a document on the observance by a tourist organization of the rules of stay of foreign tourists in the Russian Federation and on ensuring their timely departure from the territory of the Russian Federation, including compliance with the procedure for registration of foreign citizens, registration of documents for the right to stay in the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as on the presence of a tourist organization and (or) its counterparties engaged in their activities in the country (place) of temporary stay, the resources, forces and means necessary to ensure the personal safety of tourists – citizens of the Chinese People's Republic, the safety of their property, and the unhindered access of tourists to medical, legal, and other types of emergency care at all points in the country (place) of temporary stay (Sample 3).
!Attention: Tour operators must necessarily be included in the unified federal register of tour operators and carry out activities in the field of international inbound and/or outbound tourism.
