Important information for tour operators planning to work under a visa-free agreement with Iran

The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism is collecting data from tourism organizations to organize a visa-free exchange of tourists from Russia and Iran.

In order to form a list of travel organizations for 2026-2027 that are authorized to implement the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran on visa-free group trips, we ask interested travel companies to prepare and send a package of documents to the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Until November 28, 2025:

·       It is necessary to provide generalized information about the travel organization in the form of an Application in the format of a Word document to e-mail e.varlamova@tatar.ru. When filling out the organization's information, you must specify it in Russian and English.

Tour operators must necessarily be included in the unified federal register of tour operators and carry out activities in the field of international inbound and/or outbound tourism.

In the period from 01 to 05 December 2025:

·       It is necessary to affix the original samples of the seal of the tourism organization to the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism at the address: Kazan, M. Gorky str., 19, office 4.
