The delegation from Laos got acquainted with Tatarstan
From May 24 to 27, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism hosted the Champamay Travel company from the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
Colleagues got acquainted with the tourist potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, visited the Kazan Kremlin Museum-Reserve, Sviyazhsk island-city, assessed the hotels and infrastructure of the republic. The country club "Utrau" held an introductory walk through its territory – showed unique houses for living in the bosom of nature. The guests were very impressed and intend to develop relations with Tatarstan.
On May 25, the RT State Committee for Tourism signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism with Champamay Travel company – it was signed by Chairman of the State Committee Sergey Ivanov and Director of Champamay Travel Mrs. Sonetida Ounaf. The agreement is aimed at developing tourism between the two countries in order to implement joint tasks, as well as tasks within the framework of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry", one of the goals of which is to increase the export of travel services three times by 2030.
Also on May 27, a meeting was held with the Association of Travel Agencies of the Republic of Tatarstan, where colleagues discussed the possibility of creating travel packages for tourists from Russia and Laos. Champamay Travel company invited tour operators of the Republic of Tatarstan on a study tour to Laos in October this year, after the end of the rainy season.
