The Republic of Tatarstan presents its tourism potential at the "Travel!" forum
The Republic of Tatarstan participates in the international tourism forum "Travel!" at VDNKh, presenting its key destinations and unique cultural traditions. Interactive workshops, presentations of famous nature reserve museums and the opportunity to get acquainted with the rich heritage of the region are waiting for guests.
The international travel forum "Travel!", in which the Republic of Tatarstan participates, has started today at VDNKh. At its stand, the region demonstrates extensive opportunities for tourism and recreation, attracting the attention of industry professionals and potential travelers.
The stand of the Republic of Tatarstan presents:
- up-to-date information about the region's tourist routes and opportunities;
- offers from tour operators specializing in Tatarstan;
- representatives of museum reserves such as the Kazan Kremlin, the island-city of Sviyazhsk, Bolgar and Yelabuga;
- sanatoriums of the republic.
Master classes dedicated to the culture and crafts of Tatarstan are planned within the framework of the forum. Guests can take part in painting plaster souvenirs from Bolgar, making key chains from deer antlers, as well as creating fragrant tea bags from Sviyazhsk. In addition, visitors to the stand can get acquainted with the culture of Tatarstan, listen to the ethnic group "Rivayat" and taste dishes of national cuisine.
The Republic of Tatarstan invites guests and business partners to visit its booth at the Travel! Forum from June 10 to 15 and explore the land of 1001 pleasure.
The Forum has been held since 2014, and since 2024 — with the official support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the NGO "National Priorities". The Forum is a meeting place for business representatives of the tourism industry, as well as a festival venue for residents and guests of the capital. Last year, the forum gathered 3,000 people. 80 outdoor exhibitions in various tourist destinations were organized for participants from 89 regions of Russia and 30 foreign countries. The forum was attended by more than half a million people.
