Working visit of representatives of the consortium of developers of the macroterritory tour diagram "Bolshaya Volga"
Representatives of the consortium of developers of spatial planning of the interregional macroterritory diagram "Bolshaya Volga" are on a working visit to the Republic of Tatarstan.
The tour diagram represents a strategy for the development of the tourism industry in 13 subjects of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Tatarstan, as a macro-territory united around the great Russian Volga River. It will allow us to identify new vectors of development of the tourism industry, structured in the format of a roadmap with possible implementation tools. Master plans will also be developed for two promising tourist and recreational areas.
During the visit, the developers get acquainted with the tourism potential of the republic, visit tourist attraction points, as well as places of promising development of tourist infrastructure. It is planned to visit Kazan, Kamsko-Ustinsky, Laishevsky, Zelenodolsk and Verkhneuslonsky districts. In addition, business meetings are held with the professional community and representatives of the authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan.
So, on March 22, a working meeting was held with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Leyla Rinatovna Fazleeva, Assistant to the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan Olesya Alexandrovna Baltusova, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism Sergey Evgenyevich Ivanov and other industry representatives. The meeting raised issues of promising areas for the development of Tatarstan's tourism industry, as well as problematic issues and potential growth points that require special attention.
The development of macroterritory spatial planning diagram "Bolshaya Volga" is carried out within the framework of the implementation of the activities of the national project "Tourism and the Hospitality Industry" by the State Development Corporation "VEB.RF" represented by ProGorod LLC. It is planned to complete the development of the tour diagram before the end of this year.
