In Moscow, the 12th International Tourist Exhibition "Intourmarket 2018" is finishing its work, at which 29 participants represent Tatarstan on the general stand. Among them are representatives of the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Elabuga State Preserve Museum, Sviyazhsk Island, Veliky Bolgar, the Tourist Information Center of Kazan, the Kazan Kremlin Preserve Museum, as well as representatives of hotels and tour operators dealing with domestic and inbound tourist flow
This year, the main novelty was the presentation of new videos in the format of 360 degrees. Having put on glasses of virtual reality, visitors could "beam up" to the territory of the main sights of the Republic of Tatarstan: with a bird's eye view, one can see Kazan, the Great Bolgar and the island-city of Sviyazhsk. Furthermore, stand guests had an opportunity to receive gift glasses of the virtual reality "cardboard," which will allow them to view and show video clips to their friends and relatives.
On March 10th, within the framework of the exhibition in question, the "Great Volga Route" routes were presented at a meeting of the Coordination Council for Tourism of the PFD (Privolzhsky Federal District) regions and the Committee on Import Substitution under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The following routes were shown to tour operators: Kazan - Ulyanovsk - Samara - Penza and Nizhny Novgorod - Cheboksary - Yoshkar-Ola - Kazan. Expert opinions were obtained on the improvement of routes
