The Republic of Tatarstan is represented at the ITB exhibition in Berlin

The delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan is taking part in the major world tourist exhibition ITB in Berlin. On the joint stand of the regions of the Russian Federation called Visit Russia, the Republic of Tatarstan is represented by the personnel of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Municipal State-Financed Entity "Tourism Development Assistance Committee" (they are called differently now), tour operators Persona Grata, Travel Agency Kazan, Travel & Work, Leader, Tulip Travel, Mansion Hotels at the Theater Street, Olympus, and Tatar Inn.

Within the framework of the business program of the exhibition in question, a new interregional route, Palaces and Mosques, was presented together with the Committee on Tourism Development of Saint Petersburg. The event was attended by some 100 guests, among which were tour operators and representatives of the media and airlines. Representatives of the Russian Embassy in Germany became the honorary guests. Among all the guests present, lots were drawn for tickets from the S7 Airlines and a tour of the Palaces and Mosques route, which includes a visit to Saint Petersburg and Tatarstan.

At night, the Visit Russia office was opened solemnly in the Adlon hotel. The new head Vadim Naumenko announced the opening of 40 offices in 23 countries in the near future; three offices will operate in Germany alone. The event was solemnly opened by the head of the Federal Agency for Tourism, O.P. Safonov, while the welcoming speech was given by the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on the Development of Tourism of Saint Petersburg Nana Gvichia, the Head of the Department of the Tourist Product Promotion of the State Committee on Tariffs of the Republic of Tatarstan Aigul Balakhontseva, the Head of the Municipal State-Financed Entity "Tourism Development Assistance Committee" Daria Sannikova, as well as the representatives of the Kaliningrad and Sverdlovsk regions.
