On February 7th, 2018, the Day of the State Emblem of the Republic of Tatarstan will be celebrated in the Museum of Nationhood History of Tatarstan.
The State Emblem of the Republic of Tatarstan was approved by the Supreme Council on February 7th, 1992. The State Emblem of the Republic of Tatarstan asserts universal and moral values — goodness, justice, well-being of citizens, friendship and peace between peoples. The authors of the emblem are Doctor of Letters N.G. Khanzafarov (idea) and artist R.Z. Fakhrutdinov (implementation).
On February 7th, you will have the opportunity to get familiar with this modern symbol of Tatarstan and learn about the ancient symbols and emblems used by the rulers of the past if you take part in the museum program specially prepared for the Day of the State Emblem of the Republic of Tatarstan.
