Nowadays in the Volga Federal district, only the Symbols of the two Cities scored more than 5000 Votes, allowing to display Them on a Symbols Interactive Map on Website your-russia.rf. Among Them is the Capital of Tatarstan with the Kremlin of Kazan and the Capital of Bashkiria with the Salavat Yulaev monument. At the Moment the Map contains 19 Cities in Nine Federal Districts with 32 Symbol s.
The City Kite Festival "Easy to Fly!" will be held on July 16 in Kazan, on the Waterfront near the Family Center "Kazan". Mobile exhibition “Germans in Russian history” which is held within the project “National cultures at the National Museum”, will be opened at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan on July 1st at 15.00. The exhibition is dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the invitation of foreign colonists by Empress Catherine II covering more than three centuries of people history that made a significant contribution to the growth of the Russian society, its development and European integration.
The exhibition was prepared by the International Union of German culture with financial support from the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Internal Affairs of Germany in 2013.
Throughout its existence the mobile exhibition has already been presented in the number of Russian cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Volgograd, Syktyvkar, Perm, Pyatigorsk, Ulyanovsk, Marx in the Saratov region, Kolomna, Omsk, Slavgorod in the Altai Territory, and others.
Visitors can see some rare exhibits - copies of documents, maps, engravings and photos which are being stored in the archives of Russia and Germany.

The festival “Blooming Kazan-2016" was opened on the square in front of the puppet theater "Ekiyat". It gathered 23 organizations which promotes landscape designs. This year the firms of Kazan, Moscow, Togliatti have presented their unusual flower compositions. Last year the festival was attended by 200 thousand people. Except the exhibition of flower projects, workshops for young designers will be also held. The festival will be a platform for exchanging ideas and experience in the field of floral decoration, and participants will also be able to find new partners.
New playgrounds and hammocks were installed for visitors, huge cushions are laying on the green lawn where people can relax, and new art objects in the form of butterflies with light effects, umbrellas, misting system, awnings and many other things were arranged.
The first egg festival “Skorlupino 2016” was held in Pestretsy.
The project “Skorlupino” took the first place at the national forum “Our Tatarstan” in the category “My Little Homeland” and got the highest grade by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. The author of the project is the Pestrechinsk Department of Agricultural youth group of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The festival took place on several grounds. So, the visitors could buy original handmade products at the exhibition of handicrafts. On another ground chief cooks showed master classes on cooking dishes of minced meat and eggs, as well as sandwiches, which were eaten by the audience at the end. Volunteers helped to hold the event. 3-meter chicken welcomed guests.
The interest of visitors attracted the “Ko-ko” zoo where they could see ducks, geese, sheep, goats and other animals. In the “Museum of Eggs” the was an exhibition of different species of birds eggs - parrots, ostriches, pheasants, guinea fowls, etc.
Special attention was paid to the platform where two cooks were cooking two dishes of scrambled eggs. One dish was being grilled on coals, and the second one on the electric cooker. One thousand of eggs were used for each dish. Scrambled eggs of this size was cooked in the republic for the first time. Two 100-kilo pans were manufactured in advance by the Department of jet engines in KNRTU-KAI. The organizers decided to turn the cooking process into the battle of chiefs between the RT Association of Cooks and Pestrechinsk entrepreneurs who were the owners of a local coffee.
The main festival events took place on the square. And opening of the festival was held here. The event began with a parade of participants, representatives of the poultry-farming enterprises of the republic. There were the corporations among them such as: “Chelny-Broiler”, holding company “Ak Bars”, poultry complex “Ak Bars”, LLC farming firm “Zalesny” trademarked with “Indyuzhina”, and others.
The chicken “RMS Kid”, the symbol of the festival, headed the parade.
Eduard Diyarov, the Head of the Pestrechnsk region, Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the RT, Mikhail Afanasiev, Head of Laishev region, and Dmitry Ivanov, Head of Chistopol region came to greet the audience.

It was also attended by Konstantin Anisimov, the Director General of JSC “Moscow River Shipping”, Andrew Smolin, the Director General of LLC “Vodohod”, Sergei Zhukov, the Director General of JSC “Shipping company” Tatflot “ and others. On the agenda there was the examination of the Bolgar town quay wall, due to which cruise ships can moor to the town. It was also planned to visit the Museum of the Bulgarian civilization.
