16 July on central stadium of Arsk city will be hold kid’s festival “Let’s live always in peace in our native land”. The format of this festival is the kid’s analogue of Sabantuy.

Varied programme of the festival includes the performance of children and young people creative and folk music groups, sport events and competitions, folk games and interactive programmes. Participants of the festival will be children of Arsk and neighbour regions of Tatarstan republic.

The Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism Sergey Ivanov took part in the regular meeting of the Coordinating Council on Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, organized for the representatives of the executive authorities in the tourism entities of the Volga Federal District and representatives of the tourism industry in the region, which was held on July 8 in Samara.

One of the issues on the agenda of the meeting was devoted to the choice of names of developed inter-regional routes. Most regional representatives voted for the name of the "Great Volga Route".

It was decided, that the inter-regional route will be united with general concept and brand, and tourists will be able to choose regions to visit on their own.

The Tatarstan capital has broken the next culinary record under the Second gastronomic festival in Kazan. Wonders of cooking were demonstrated by 4 Kazan chefs of "Tugan avylym" restaurant, the participant of the Festival. About hundreds of eggs and a few kilograms of flour were used to create a traditional Tatar sweet.

The strip of dough – the future „Hvorost“ (Angel wings) – had a length of 500 meters and a width of 20 sm. It took about 4 hours to cook the dish, after that the visitors and invited residents of Kazan broke the second record: they have eaten a delicacy in 5 minutes! It should be reminded that last year within the gastronomic festival in Kazan was backed the greatest Echpochmak weighing 24 kg.

The 1st Interregional conference “Development of rural tourism in Volga federal district – status, problems, perspectives” Kazan – Bolgar to be held on the 28th and 29th of July.

The representatives of non-commercial, commercial and regional, municipal structures dealing with the issues of development of rural tourism, subjects of rural tourism are invited to the seminar. The managers of All-Russian non-commercial organizations, GIS countries, institutes of the Ministry of Agriculture, managers and specialists of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of another partner organizations and authorities are going to take part in the seminar too.

From 8th to 10th of July there will be held the second gastronomical festival “Tasty Kazan” in the capital of Tatarstan. The longest pastry straws are going to be cooked at this festival among other things. The Deputy of the Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism Liana Sayetova and Deputy Mayor of Kazan Evgeniya Lodvigova, acting Director of the Committee for Tourism Development of the capital of Tatarstan Darya Sannikova, the Chairman of the Management Board of the Association of restaurateurs and hoteliers of Kazan and Republic of Tatarstan Zufar Gayazov.told in details about the program of the festival at the conference of the “Tatar-inform” news agency.

There are two days left untill the start of the Russian analogue of the famous rally “Dakar”, motor rally “Silk road”. The race is going to start on the 8th of July on the Red Square in Moscow and finish in Peking on the 24th of July. According to the providers’ information the teams from 39 countries are going to toe the starting line. 92 off-road vehicles and 24 trucks are going to pass from Moscow to Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny, reach Ufa and go across the border to Astana and Almaty in order to cross the Gobi desert thereafter and finish at the center of Peking on the 24 of July. The rally is going to start on the Red Square in Moscow but the participants will first have a trip to the Olympic complex “Luzhniki” to pass administrative checks and briefings on the 7th and 8th of July.

The Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergei Ivanov handed out the commemorative medals “XVI water sports championship 2015 in Kazan” to the representatives of tourist industry of Tatarstan.

People who made a contribution to the preparation and realization of the water sports championship including hotels of Kazan taking in guests all along the sports holiday, as well as representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism were awarded with commemorative medals and certificates.

Tatarstan is going to consider the touristic experience of Khakassia and Tyva. This kind of decision was made after working trips of delegation headed by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov to these republics. The Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism Sergei Ivanov reported it today during the briefing in the republican Cabinet of Ministers.

As explained by the speaker, Khakassia and Tyva possess the unique natural resources. “The state wilderness area of Khakassia occupies the territory of 267 thousand ha. Our Volzhski-Kamski state biosphere reserve occupies 10 thousand ha. Khakassia has an unique experience regarding the usage of the reserve in the development of active tourism. There is a reserve in Tatarstan too, but this kind of tourism business is not developed much yet. Khakassia has made much more progress and this experience we are going to consider by watching how they cooperate within the limits of legislation concerning the protection of conservation areas, how they create routes and extensively attract tourists there”, he said.

In Competition can take part Anybody who wants, there are no Entry Fees. The Winners in the Categories receive Awards and Prizes. Also for Participants and Spectators will be provided the Entertainment Show.The Press Service of Kazan Mayor's Office reports that the ANCO Endurance Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan with the Support of the Committee of Physical Training and Sports is the Organizer of the Tournament.

The Second Gastronomic Festival "Delicious Kazan" will be held in the Capital of Tatarstan from 8 to 10 July. About 30 Restaurateurs from different Cities of Russia will take part in it.
