On June the 1st the Yelabuga State Museum Reserve for the fourth time participated in the literary project “Classics in the Russian province”, arranged by the Association of small scale tourist cities.

The inhabitants and guests of Yelabuga were reading the works of the poets and writers related to our city: Stanislav Romanovskiy, Nadezhda Durova, Marina Tsvetayeva, Mikhail Prishvin, Boris Pasternak and Evgeniy Yevtushenko. The event lasted in a non-stop mode during four hours in the gazebo of the Silver Age library.

The narrators read the works of the Yelabuga poets: Natalia Verderevskaya, Evgeniya Pospelova, Antonina Silkina and Svetlana Popova.

The work by N.A.Durova “The narration of a sixty year old hussar” was read for the first time to broad public attention. It was taken from the magazine “Pantheon”, 1840, which was purchased not long ago into the repository collection of the Yelabuga State Museum Reserve.

State History, Architecture and Art Museum-Reserve “Isle-Town of Sviyazhsk” and Association “Center of historic fencing and reconstruction “Sulitsa” invite to spend together the Night in the Sviyazhsk Museum on May 27, 2017!

The guests will have a wonderful opportunity to take a dive into a midst of the school years at the interactive lesson sitting at the tables of the gymnasium class. You will get acquainted with the Sviyazhsk educational institutions of the end of the XIX – beginning of the XX centuries. There will be a concert program held in the courtyard of the Museum of Sviyazhsk History at 05:00 p.m., and at 07:00 p.m. - the concert of Ekaterina Boldyreva. All sites of the Museum-Reserve Isle-Town of Sviyazhsk will be open free all the evening till 10:00 p.m. Every hour there will be held excursions to the expositions and exhibitions.

The XV Festival of Chimes “ALEKSEEVSKIYE PEREZVONY - 2017” will take place on May 28, 2017 in the settlement of. The topic of the Festival is “Song of the Chimes - the echo of the centuries”.

The Festival is dedicated to the 15th Anniversary of Chimes performance “Alekseevskiye perezvony” on Alekseevskoye land.The Festival will be attended by the bell-ringers from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the authors and performers of sacral and folk music, folk lore and dancing groups of different genres.There will be also performed folk and spiritual songs and canticles, chimes of different traditions and schools.The program of the Festival includes a fair for popular craftwork items “Gorod Masterov” (City of Masters), master-classes, kids’ playground.The project “Kazachya Sloboda” (Cossacks’ settlement) will also be represented at the Festival with participation of military historical clubs.

For the first time, from the 19th to 22nd of May, 2017, Tatarstan held a specialized tour for people with disabilities, organized by the tour operator "Integra Tour". The first group of tourists from the city of Izhevsk is traveling in Tatarstan by the minibus, specially equipped for the transportation of tourists with disabilities; it was presented to the tour operator in 2016 by R.N.Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. During its stay in Tatarstan, the group will be able to see Kazan, the Great Bulgar, to visit the Raifa monastery, the Innopolis, etc.

For reference: the tour operator "Integra - Tour" specializes in organizing tours for people with disabilities, taking into account clients’ wishes and individualities.

In 2016, the social project by "Integra tour" took the first place on the Forum “Our Tatarastan” and received the state support and began to grows rapidly.

Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for tourism, took part in the Round- table meeting on development of water tourism in the city of Balakovo. The event was held as a part of the Closing Day of the Sports and Tourist Camp of the Privolzhsky Federal district "Turiada-2017". There he made a presentation of tourist potential of Tatarstan, describing the possibilities of water tourism, the main points of attraction for tourists, the route "Great Volga way", etc.

The training of municipal employees and initiators of tourist events in Tatarstan was held from 15 to 17 of May on the basis of Kazan Federal University. The representatives of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for tourism, including Sergei Ivanov, its Chairman, took on the role of experts.

The ceremony of awarding the participants of the program was held yesterday.

A series of free webinars "Have a rest in Tatarstan" for representatives of travel agencies will start from the 19th of May in the republican spa resorts. The Association "Spa Resorts of Tatarstan" invites representatives of tourist companies to participate in webinars.

During the webinars, a representative of each spa resort will show its treatment and prophylactic programs and resources, living conditions and tell about the facility infrastructure. One webinar will include presentations of 5 spa resorts. A complete cycle consists of 5 webinars.

Webinars will be held from May, 19 to June, 23, 2017.

The duration of each event is 1 hour.

Today, as a part of the IX International economic summit "Russia – the Islamic world: KazanSummit 2017”, the Thematic Session "Halal tourism: the status quo and future outlook" was held with participation of Nikolay Korolev, Deputy head of the Federal Agency for tourism, Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for tourism, Ildar Musin, vice-President of the Federation of restaurateurs and hoteliers and Gulnara Safina, President of the Association of hotels of Kazan and Tatarstan.

We’d like to inform that the Federal Agency for tourism with the support of Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation announces the contest of projects on development of domestic and inbound tourism in 2017. The best ideas, focused on expanding the range of offers, improvement of quality and availability of travel in Russia, will receive state support.

Any legal entity regardless of its organizational-legal form, which is registered on the territory of the Russian Federation and implements projects focused on the development of domestic and inbound tourism, can participate in the contest.

The opening of the unique exhibition "Masterpieces of Gustave Dore” dedicated to the 185 anniversary of the birth of the great French artist and graphic takes place on May, 17, at 14.00, in the Exhibition hall of Yelabuga state open-air Museum.

The company "Arthit" has provided 120 illustrations of Dore for compositions of classical writers of world literature, including "Adventures of Baron Munchausen" by Raspe, "Paradise Lost" by Milton, "The Divine Comedy" by Alighieri, "The fairy tale" by Perrault, La Fontaine's fables. At the exhibition you can see the most interesting works of the artist that are presented not in books, but in expanded form; and each work comes with a description and statements from the text.
