Representatives of the Kazan Museum of Soviet Lifestyle visited Lithuania at the invitation of the Lithuanian Tatar community. Museum director, Rustem Valiakhmetov with accordionist Aidar Valiev visited the folk festival "Rudenines" in Visaginas, which has been held every two years. The festival was attended by national cultural communities, living in Lithuania, including Tatar representatives.
The agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Paraguay on the conditions of the waiver of visa formalities comes into force on October 20, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affiars.

On 7 October Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Ivanov, had a video conference with the heads of municipalities of the Republic of Tatarstan on the issue of the procedure mandatory classification of accommodation facilities in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The museum decided to recall the period of 1931-1991, When the “GTO” was the main athletic training program in educational, professional, and sports organizations in the USSR. At the exhibition, entitled "Ready for Labor and Defense!" visitors can learn about the history and functioning of the system in the Soviet era. Starting from the age of 10, Soviet children in schools were actively involved with the physical training. The exhibition presents “agitplakaty” (propaganda posters), premium pennants and books on relevant topics.
On October 8, at 8:00 am in the conference hall of the hotel "Courtyard by Marriott Kazan Kremlin" will be a presentation of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan for the representatives of China's largest travel agency CITS, which are currently on a visit to the country. Tour operator Tez Tour intends to halve the volume of service in most areas. This decision was taken due to adverse market movements forecasts, as well as the low rate of the ruble against the major currencies, according to the commercial director Tez Tour Alexander Burtin, reports "Interfax".
President of the agency, Ms. Yu Nina's is visiting Kazan at the moment, as part of her tour to Russian cities to establish cooperation in the tourism sector.
