A one-day promotion tour to Nizhnekamsk for tour operators of the Tatarstan Republic was made on the 2nd of October. Leading representatives of the tourism industry of the Republic as also as  representatives of cruise companies, operating in the Volga and Kama direction, visited the city. Nizhnekamsk presented its potential as a big cruise center, also business representatives evaluated  an eventful program of excursions of a young but actively developing Nizhnekamsk.

As part of the Tatarstan-Japan business forum, he made a presentation of the tourism potential of the Tatarstan Republic, also a series of meetings and negotiations with Japanese tour operators is  expected.

On 2 and 3 November 2017, Kazan will host the KAZAN TOURISM FORUM 2017. Benchmarks of the future. Each 2 years the Forum gathers in Kazan world experts in Tourism (2011, 2013, 2015). The focus of this year is “INTEGRATED TOURISM DESTINATION MANAGEMENT”. Organizers of the Forum are ANCO “Center for tourism development of the Republic of Tatarstan” together with the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism  with the support of the Federal agency for Tourism and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On September 30 and October 1, the Natural History Museum of Tatarstan invites all to the holiday, dedicated to World Animal Day. The animal world has a special place in human life. The Societies for the Protection of Animals of many countries around the world annually organize a variety of mass events and activities dedicated to this holiday.

All comers are invited to make an exciting journey-quest in this amazing and diverse world of animals.

On September 14, in the Yelabuga State Museum-Preserve, two new exposition halls were opened, located in the courtyard of the Yelabuga Historical and Architectural Museum-Preserve. A welcoming speech at the opening was made by the author of the idea of creating new expositions – Gulzada Rudenko, General Director of Yelabuga Historical and Architectural Museum-Preserve.

A tender was announced for inclusion in the personnel reserve of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan in the department of promotion of the tourist product for the leading group of posts in the category "specialists" (2 units). Acceptance of documents for participation in the tender is carried out from September 20 to October 10, 2017, during working hours of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan. The tourist potential of the Republic of Tatarstan is represented at the OTDYKH LEISURE exhibition, which takes place from 19 to 21 September in Moscow. In total there are 22 participants at the booth from the Republic, among them: representatives of museum-preserves (Yelabuga, Chistopol, town-island of Sviyazhsk, Kazan Kremlin, Great Bolgar), Association of sanatoria of the Republic of Tatarstan, hotels, and companies engaged in inbound tourism.
