On July 18, a summer street festival "Cultural Shift" will kick off on Kazan's Marjani Street at the waterfront of Lake Nizhny Kaban. The festival organizers told Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin about its concept and program.

An outdoor "Russian Color Festival 2014" will be held for the first time in Kazan on July 20. During the event, thousands of people dressed in white will come to the appointed place and will start spraying each other with dry paint.
