An international art exhibition «The Minis United Buddy Bears» will open near Kazan's family "Kazan" on July 1. Tatarstan will also be represented by a sculpture of a bear. The exhibition «United Buddy Bears» (The Commonwealth of Buddy Bears) is a world-renowned project which has visited five continents. Kazan will become Russia's third city after St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg to host the exhibition.

In its world tour, «United Buddy Bears» promote peace, love, tolerance and understanding among nations. Each 1.2 m-tall painted sculpture represents the artist's home country: its nature, history, people, landscape, farming and music. Thus, together the exhibits are a kind of map of the world. The raised bears' paws symbolize friendship and optimism. "Paw to paw" reminds visitors that the people of various countries should get to know each other and live in peace.
