Tatarstan presented its tourism potential at Qatar Travel Mart 2025 in Doha
The delegation of Tatarstan presented the republic's tourism potential at the Qatar Travel Mart 2025 international exhibition in Doha. Participation in one of the key events for the travel industry of the Persian Gulf countries allowed the republic to conduct business negotiations and establish itself in one of the promising markets.
A delegation from Tatarstan took part in the Qatar Travel Mart 2025 international tourism exhibition, which is being held in Doha. The Republic presented its unique tourism opportunities at the joint Russian stand "Discover Russia", organized by the Center for Strategic Research.
The stand has become a key platform for dialogue with tour operators of the Persian Gulf countries. On the first day of the exhibition, more than 100 business B2B meetings were held with representatives of the Qatari and Middle Eastern markets.
Representatives of Tatarstan spoke in detail about the rich tourist offer of the region. They focused on existing flights and the convenient possibility of obtaining online visas for residents of the region's countries. Among the key areas presented to the guests from Qatar were: comfortable family vacations in parks and entertainment centers, rich gastronomy with an emphasis on Halal cuisine and interesting shopping opportunities, as well as a variety of active leisure activities - from fishing, golf and animal farms to winter sports and hot air balloon rides.
The main focus of the negotiations was on the development of winter routes in Russia and the creation of joint travel packages specially adapted for Qatari tourists.
Tatarstan's participation in Qatar Travel Mart 2025 strengthens the republic's position in one of the most promising markets and opens up new avenues for international cooperation. This work contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality", according to which the export of tourist services in Russia should be tripled by 2030.
