The delegation included not only tour operators, but also representatives of leading media outlets, trade unions, and bloggers. During the visit, representatives of Tatarstan conducted an assessment of Tajikistan's tourism infrastructure, and also organized the work of the media to collect materials to familiarize Tatarstan residents with the republic's potential.
For several days, the guests got acquainted with the sights of the capital, Dushanbe, and also visited other key regions of the country. The program included an inspection of historical monuments, natural sites and an assessment of the conditions for the development of various types of tourism.
An important event of the visit was the participation of the delegation in the Dushanbe 2nd International Tourism Exhibition 2025. At the exhibition, representatives of Tatarstan were able to establish contacts with colleagues from other countries.
The central event of the visit was a meeting with the leadership of the Tourism Development Committee of Tajikistan, as well as the country's leading tour operators. The delegation from Tatarstan was received by the Chairman of the Committee, Jamshed Jumakhonzoda.
The meeting resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement between the travel companies of Tatarstan and Tajikistan. This visit contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality", one of the key objectives of which is to triple the export of tourist services by 2030.
