16 representatives of the tourism industry from the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman arrived in Tatarstan to explore the region and its attractions as part of the "Two Capitals of One Horizon" project.
16 tour operators from the Persian Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman, came to Tatarstan to explore the region tourism potential. The information tour was organized by the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the Committee for Tourism of the City of Moscow within the framework of the project "Two Capitals of one Horizon".
The guests got acquainted with the tourist opportunities of Tatarstan. The participants visited the main sights of Kazan, strolled by Lake Kaban and visited the Tugan Avylym complex. The delegation also visited UNESCO sites such as the Kazan Kremlin and the Cathedral of the Assumption in Sviyazhsk, and met alpacas in the Pacha Mama Park.
Furthermore, tour operators have investigated lodging alternatives in the area, including glamping and rural inns. During their trip, they were also given a presentation of the tourism opportunities available in the country.
Representatives of the Middle East countries tourism industry highly appreciated the tourism potential of the Republic of Tatarstan. The visitors were captivated by the region's main attractions. Moreover, the tour guides were delighted by the natural splendor that enveloped the city, the diversity of lodging options in terms of capacity and price, and the wide range and excellence of culinary offerings. The participants of the study tour expressed their interest in selling tours in the Moscow plus Kazan format. The development of international cooperation is aimed at achieving the goals of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" to increase the export of travel services three times by 2030.
