The first hotel certified according to the standard of "Traveling with pets" appeared in Tatarstan
The Riviera Hotel in Tatarstan was the first in the region to receive the certificate of "Traveling with pets". This means that all conditions are created here for guests with pets: comfortable rooms, special walking areas, hypoallergenic cleaning and other services for pets. The certification was carried out by the Roskachestvo-Tourism certification body and opens up new opportunities for the hotel to attract tourists.
The certification confirms that the accommodation facility meets all the requirements for a comfortable stay for guests with pets.
The Riviera Hotel became the first in Tatarstan to be certified according to the Pet Friendly standard.
Experts from the Roskachestvo-Tourism certification body conducted a certification procedure that covers all key aspects of the service for guests with animals:
- allocation of a special number of rooms and public areas;
- carrying out hypoallergenic cleaning;
- informing guests about the rules of accommodation with animals;
- availability of necessary supplies (bowls, diapers, bags);
- equipment for walking areas;
- staff training in animal handling and emergency response;
- compliance with safety standards and sanitary requirements.
As a result, one of the hotels in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Riviera Hotel, confirmed its readiness to receive guests with pets, providing them with a high level of service. This is an important step in the development of customer-oriented tourism in the region, especially in the context of the growing demand for travel services for pet owners.
"When a hotel successfully passes the certification under the Travel with Pets program, it proves that its service is adapted to the needs of pet owners — from information support to technical equipment and furnishing of the room stock with necessary accessories. We see a growing interest in such certification, which makes it possible to increase the overall level of hospitality and make Russia more open and attractive to all categories of tourists," said Alexandra Shershneva, head of the Roskachestvo–Tourism certification body.
"This event is of great importance for our republic, as more and more tourists choose the opportunity to travel with animals. In Tatarstan, we strive to create comfortable conditions for all travelers, including their four-legged friends. Pet-friendly accommodation options are already available in our region in many glamping establishments and hotels, for example, Kazan Palace by Tasigo. This initiative helps attract new guests and strengthen Tatarstan's image as an attractive tourist destination," comments Sergey Ivanov, Chairman of the Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism.
The certificate "Traveling with pets" opens up new opportunities for the hotel:
- expanding the loyal visitor base;
- strengthening the image as a modern and socially oriented accommodation facility;
- the opportunity to collaborate with major online platforms and tour operators offering pet tours.
Certification is a confirmation that quality is becoming not only an internal standard, but also a powerful tool for creating a comfortable and safe space for all family members, including four-legged ones.
