New regular flights from Kazan to Abu Dhabi will open up opportunities for tourism development

Kazan Gabdulla Tukai International Airport has announced the launch of regular flights with Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. Starting from December 4, 2025, passengers will be able to fly from Kazan to Abu Dhabi three times a week, which will create new opportunities for tourism development and strengthening ties between the two regions.

Kazan Gabdulla Tukai International Airport is pleased to announce the launch of regular flights with Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates. The first flights on the Kazan — Abu Dhabi route will begin on December 4, 2025 with a frequency of three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The flight duration will be 4 hours and 25 minutes, and flights will be operated on comfortable Airbus A320 aircraft until April 19, 2026.

This new flight will create significant opportunities for mutual tourism and strengthen business ties. Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves noted Kazan as a dynamic and active Volga city, which underlines its attractiveness to tourists.

The expansion of the route network will have a positive impact on the growth of passenger traffic to the Republic of Tatarstan and will contribute to the development of the tourism sector within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality".
