The fifth International Travel Forum "Travel!" at VDNKh gathered about half a million guests
The jubilee V International Tourism Forum "Travel!" was held in Moscow, which for the first time received international status. The event was attended by representatives of 438 organizations from Russia and 9 foreign countries, and the central event was a plenary session with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Dmitry Chernyshenko and a large-scale exposition of Tatarstan, where the guests got acquainted with the national cuisine, learned the Tatar language and created souvenirs.
From June 10 to June 15, 2025, the V Anniversary International Tourism Forum "Travel!" was held in Moscow on the territory of VDNKh, a key event of the Russian tourism industry, which for the first time received international status. The event was organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Russian Ministry of Economic Development with the support of the Russian Government and the Moscow Tourism Committee.
The central event of the business program was a plenary session with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov. The forum participants heard a welcoming speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin, which was read out by Chernyshenko, and also saw a video message from Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
During the six days of the forum, 438 organizations from different regions of Russia and 9 foreign countries presented their tourism infrastructure. Guests could visit 140 exhibitions, including stands of tour operators, hotels and manufacturers of tourist equipment.
The cultural program of the forum was rich: master classes from top chefs were held in the House of Russian Cuisine, 182 events with the participation of 276 speakers were held in lecture halls, and more than 100 creative teams performed on the main stage.
The Republic of Tatarstan presented a large-scale street exhibition Visit Tatarstan with the participation of 23 organizations. The guests of the stand were able to take part in the Sabantuy holiday and learn words in the Tatar language, taste national dishes — echpochmaki, peremyachi, chak-chak and horse sausage, as well as create their own souvenirs: embroider a tyubeteyka, make a leather keychain or paint a plaster figurine.
The Association "Sanatoriums of Tatarstan" held quizzes about Tatarstan, presented There were 6 vouchers to the sanatorium, and the volunteers also gave 15 tours of the republic. A total of 600 people participated in the master classes, and 30 lucky winners won the quizzes.
The stand of Tatarstan became the winner of the first degree for the best visual design of the exposition.
The Travel! Forum brought together the tourism industry of the whole country, professionals from the global industry community and a wide audience of travelers to build new routes, ideas and solutions in the industry of the future.
This work contributes to solving the tasks of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" to ensure the accessibility of trips around the country and inform citizens about the possibilities of recreation within the country.
