Wedding quest “Find the bride in Kazan Kremlin” is an adventure alternative to the classical bride purchasing which gives a chance of visiting one of the most beautiful places of Kazan and getting acquainted with its history. Bridegroom and his friends get the old map of ancient fortress and go searching for the bride! The only requirement is to follow the encrypted messages using attention, smarts and logic! The bridegroom has to show his courage and accuracy in bow shooting and strength and hard working in a smith shop with the help of a hammer. The bridegroom will find the secret letter with main riddle only in one tower of the Kazan Kremlin. Having solved the riddle he will get to know where the bride is hidden.
The chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Toursim Sergei Ivanov took part in opening of the Interregional Forum for Cooperation of Saint Petersburg and the Republic of Tatarstan. The Forum is organized within the days of of Saint Petersburg in Tatarstan. The chairman of the committee did a presentation telling about tourism opportunities in Tatarstan, about new projects such as clusters “Nariman” and “Kama orifice”, about tourism development in the republic and many other things. Sergei Ivanov also pointed out the fact that in Tatarstan they keep an eye on tourism development in Saint Petersburg, and tourists from the Northern capital in particular are one of the most often quests in the republic.
Within the days of Saint Petersburg in the Republic of Tatarstan in the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism the meeting was held between the chairman of committee Sergei Ivanov and his deputy Yekaterina Barabanova with the chairman of the Development Committee for Tourism of Saint Petersburg Andrei Mushkaryov, chief of administration of the vice governor of Saint Petersburg Alexander Kokorin, general director of the state public institution ‘City tourism and information office’ of Saint Petersburg Yevgeny Pankevich and others. General director of the autonomous non-commercial organization ‘Directorate of sports and social projects’ Azat Kadyrov, management chief of arrangement of championship “WorldSkills” in 2019 in Kazan Emil Gubaidulin, general director of the limited liability company ‘Tourism and information center of Kazan city’ Natalya Abramovich and others took part in this meeting as well.
On the agenda of the meeting there were several points: discussion of cooperation in the area of tourism between the city of Saint Petersburg and the Republic of Tatarstan, instruments and methods of influence on the tourism industry with regard to compilation of data, quality control and auditing named ‘Hidden guest/call’, sharing experience with the representatives of the Tourism and information center of Kazan etc. During the event particular attention was paid to the sharing of experience with regard to preparation of Kazan for performing of the international championship WorldSkills in 2019 – the big presentation telling about the movement of WorldSkills, organization peculiarities and about Kazan’s application for this championship was introduced to the guests. Following the results of the meeting it was decided to work in cooperation for a larger sharing of experience in future.
On the 15th of July 2016 there was an attempt of a military takeover in Turkey resulted in more than 190 people dead. According to the message of Rosaviatsiya (Russian Air Transport Federal Agency) the transportation of passengers to the Republic of Turkey has been temporary postponed. Limitation for carrying out of incoming flights will be valid until the political situation is clarified. However, Russian citizens being on the territory of Turkey including tourists will be able to leave the country before the scheduled departure at will. Return flights will be carried out by the airlines of both countries. Information about the scheduled flights can be found out at the call centers and airlines offices.Rostourism company advises tour operators providing touristic products to the Republic of Turkey to let the clients know this information and dissolve all arising issues in due course.
One more contest was announced for the All-Russian Festival of Historical Battle ‘Great Bulgar’ – this time for the littlest children – Children’s pictures contest!
The themes of pictures shall be:
- Bulgaria of the Volga
- Medieval knights and ladies
- Warriors of Old Russia, Europe and Golden Horde
Conditions of participation:
- On the picture there shall be illustrated one (or several) themes chosen from proposed above
- Participants shall be from 0 to 15 years old.
The picture shall be drawn, photographed and posted in the special contest album on: https://vk.com/album-70365577_233043195 or sent at the e-mail address: bolgarfest@mail.ru with a note ‘Children’s pictures contest’
The picture shall be signed as follows:
- Full name of creator, city
- Age
- Contact phone number and full name of one of the parents
Original pictures shall be brought to the festival’s playground!
Each child who will bring the original picture taking part in the contest will get 2 silver bulgarics!
1. Winner of the contest will get wooden shield and sword, as well as knight’s helmet as present!
2. Wooden shield and sword will be a reward for the second place!
3. Sword will be a reward for the third place!
Colorful city festival will take place for the third time at the quay near the family сentre Kazan. The event took place in 2014 for the first time and became popular among the citizens and guests of the capital of Tatarstan at once. The festival’s program is notable for the variety of entertainments and events of all kinds. First of all, there will be spectacular competitions where all comers can demonstrate the beauty and all capabilities of their kites by controlling them. The experienced craftspeople will hold master classes by teaching how to make individual kites. In several areas there will be organized amusement arcades for grown-ups and children. Besides, there will be held the fair of handmade presents with kites as main subject matter. In the picnics area one will be able to take a stand with own snacks and have a rest in the open air. Giving away compliments and prizes to the winners of competitions, as well as the most active participants of the festival will be organized by the event’s partners.
From the 5th till 7th August 2016 there will be held the ninth All-Russian Spassk trade fair in Yelabuga.
According to the set tradition the trade fair is held on the territory of the reserved part of Yelabuga in the area of Shishkin ponds, Molodyozhny stadium and central streets in the historical part of the town.
At the trade fair there will be presented jewelry, national costumes, model clothes, downy items, wood painting, art weaving, ceramics, Gzhel, art leather working, patchwork sewing and puppets, minting, engraving, metal painting, metal lacework, bast items, canes and many other things.
The trade fair will be marked by performance of entertainers, folkloristic and circus groups. Master classes for producing of self-made souvenirs will be organized for all comers in the Town of Masters. There will be generally presented production of agricultural enterprises, processing industry companies and consumer goods manufacturers at the market.
Also the Bell-ringing Festival participating bell-ringing and spiritual music masters from different cities of Russia will be held during the Spassk trade fair days.
The state museum preserve of Yelabuga invites the masters of national artistic trades and decorative and applied arts to participate in the All-Russian Spassk trade fair in Yelabuga on the 5th, 6th and 7th of August 2016.
The beach of Almetyevsk city was opened on the 13th of July. The beach turned into unique recreation area having no analogues neither in republic nor in the country. They succeeded to build it over the course of only three months.
They delivered 2,5 thousand tons of quartz sand from Thailand to the beach, roll-out lawn was laid down, water path for walking of 880 meters long was arranged. The length of the wake -park water track makes 600 meters, training track makes 150 meters (wakeboarding – riding in water on special board – remark of editor). The height of climbing wall makes up to 10,5 meters, the height of three-storied adventure park is 9 meters. The beach itself with sun loungers, playgrounds, photodiode swing sets and beach volleyball area will be free of charge. Wake-park, climbing wall, adventure park, open swimming-pool and double canoe riding will be fee-based.
The unique scientific and exhibition project “Wonder-working Kazan image of the Mother of God. Kazan monastery of the Mother of God ” keeps working in the main building of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan. It coincides with celebration of appearance of the Kazan Icon of the Most Holy Mother of God (21st of July) and laying the cornerstone on the site of the Kazan Cathedral to be restored in the Kazan monastery of the Mother of God. This is a common project of the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan, Department of manuscripts and rare books of the research library in the name of N.I. Lobachevsky, Kazan Federal University museums, National archive of the Republic of Tatarstan and private collections from Kazan.
On the 4th of June 2016 the mobile exhibition “ Decorative and applied arts of Tatars: history and modern age” organized by the National museum of the Republic of Tatarstan was opened in the national museum preserve of Crimea in the town of Bakhchisarai. The exposition unfolding the originality of Tatar people culture, national traditions and arts of different age masters was presented to the inhabitants and guests of Crimea. This exhibition will be of interest to each resident of half-island: Crimean Tatars were historically and culturally closed to Kazan Tatars. The exhibition will be open at the Crimean ethnographic museum in the city of Simferopol already in autumn.
