An inaugural national history festival Great Bolgar will take place at Bolgar reserve museum on 16-17 August. A total of 7 to 10 thousand people were expected to visit the festival over the two days, Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism Deputy Chair Liana Sayetova told a news conference.

The meeting was attended by S. Ivanov, chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan Tourism, T. Prokofeva, chief architect of Kazan R. Shaydullin, chairman of Land and Property Relations of the Executive Committee of Kazan, M. Leonov, head of a separate division in Kazan of the Organizing Committee of the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia, A. Kondratenko, senior director of Development «Starwood Hotel and Resort» in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries, A. Tolmachev, deputy director of "PermGrazhdanStroy." The main topic of the meeting was the selection of land for construction of a hotel complex.
Tourist route called "Treasures of the ancient Kazan” will include a two-day visit to Tatarstan. On the first day the students are invited to enjoy a sightseeing tour of the capital of Tatarstan, a visit to the museum of the 1000th anniversary of Kazan, a tour of the Kazan Kremlin, and a visit to the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan. The second day of the tour program will take place on Svijazhsk Island.
On July 24, 2014 at 12.00 in the "Tatmedia" Plc.(2,Dekabristov street) will be golding a press conference dedicated to the nationwide historical festival "Great Bulgaria", which will take place in the Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve Bulgarians on August 16-17 2014

At the end three participants of professional tournament have become winners. In the weight category over 90 kg the first place was taken by Yegor Chiberev from Noldor Kazan Military-History Club. The winner in the weight category of 90 kg was also a representative of the same club - Rustam Ibatullin from Zelenodolsk. In the weight category of 85 kg the first place was taken by Dmitry Shiryaev, a representative of Legion Military-History Club from Nizhny Novgorod.
The Turkic-language performers’ second international TV song contest Turkvision was presented at Kazan Culture Centre in Tatarstan capital.
These sightseeing tours to various Russian cities are conducted by the Ministry of Culture according to the program of cultural and educational routes.

During two days of conference, participants discussed the level of hotel complex as a whole in Russia. The main objective that was set to all providers of the accommodation facilities was to pass through classification on compulsory basis prior to the 1st of July 2015.
On July 19, 2014 employees of the State Committee on Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Assembly of Kazan Tourist Volunteers will go out to the city to learn about the needs of tourists and reveal what influences their decision when choosing a city as a travel destination within the country. They will also inform citizens and guests of Kazan about the new tourist destinations, which may be of interest to them.
