Liana Saetova, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on tourism, participates at the first workshop from the Art Council VisitTatarstan  with the following theme: “The new generation of souvenirs”. The meeting was also attended by Director General of ANO “Center of Tourism Development of the Republic of Tatarstan” Oksana Sargina, Acting Director of the Tourism Assistance Committee in  Kazan, Daria Sannikova, Chairman of the Committee of the TPP RT, Arthur Mustaev and others.  On the agenda there was a review of the market of souvenir production of the Republic of Tatarstan, study of cunsumer preferences, as well as a debate between the producers and sellers of souvenirs on the theme: “Why do people buy everything that is produced and produce everything that is bought?” It is a reminder that the main aim of the Art-Council is the development of visual style of a touristic program Visit Tatarstan. The Art Council will work on improvement of creation of a new generation of the souvenir production, clothes and accessories, countinue to develop the tatar ornament in modern interpretation which is attractive for travelling at the touristic market of China.   

The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on tourism was attended by Chinese mass media representatives today. The meeting was finished by the press tour across the Republic of Tatarstan, which was held from 12 to 16 June. During the visit of the republic the guests have attended the main Kazan sights, pedestrian Bauman’s street, house - museum of V.I Lenin, island-city Sviyazhsk which is situated in Great Bulgaria, took a walk along the Volga by boat, got to know about local production being in stores such as “Arysh-May.” These events are held with the aim of developing of the Rupublich of Tatarstan as...

Sergey Ivanov, the Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on Tourism, takes part at the “2016 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum”. Today he has spoken at the panel session “The management model for the development of inbound and domestic tourism.” At the panel session Sergei Ivanov spoke about how tourism is being developed in the Republic of Tatarstan, and what results has been achieved: “According to the results of the year 2015 the Republic of Tatarstan has a positive dynamics of growth of main indicators of development of the tourism industry. Touristic flow including excursionists to the Republic of Tatarstan amounted to more than 2.7 million people“, - Sergey Ivanov said.

On June 18th in Kulegash town of the Agryzskiy district in Tatarstan the republician holiday of Mari culture “Semyk” will be held. Folk music groups from different parts of the Russian Federation and municipal districts of Tatastan will take part at the celebration.

The event will open with the parade of delegations on the Maidan, the prologue “Treasury of folk spirituality - Semyk holiday” and raising the flag of the holiday. The program will include national horse racing, Mari farmstead and “City of Masters” tours, concert program at the central square and small stage. There will also be competitions “Mari patyr-2016” and “Mari Chever udyr-2016."

The promotional tour to the Kostroma district will take place from 24 to 25 of June. The participants of the press-tour will take part in the highlight tour around the Kostroma, the panel discussion “The modern condition and future development of the active types of tourism in Kostroma district”, the guided tour to Ipat’evsk monastery, to the reserve-museum “Kostromskaya sloboda”, also they will visit the International jewelry festival “Zolotoe koltso Rossii”, will participate in the Camp food competition “Pohlyebka” (The culinary contest between amateurs and professionals), will visit the Sumarokovsk moose farm etc.

The Big cruise holiday took place at the River port for the Kazan citizens. This activity was supported by the State Committee of Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan and was carried out by the biggest river cruising tour operators. They are “Vodohod”, “Volzhskie puteshestviya+”, “Infoflot” and “Sputnik-Germes”. Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Catherine Barabanova has taken part in it. She started the activity and wished a good mood to the audience. Then the holiday continued with the musical and dancing routine, which was arranged by the artists acted on the decks of each company. Guests had the opportunity not only to observe the concert, but also to go on the deck and see the internal structure of the ship. The site of the oncoming historical festival “Velikii Bolgar” was on the cruise holiday, too and all guests could put on historical clothes, take photos in it and get a memorable souvenir.

A two-decker bus with the sights of Kazan by the company City Sightseeing Worldwide has run in Moscow. This advertising reminds to Muscovities about Kazan touristic facilities. There are 55 seats in the bus, sliding ramp for the disabled persons and audio-guide on 9 languages. There is the same sightseeing bus in Kazan.

Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan, Catherine Barabanova, has taken part at the regional Conference of the Russian Business Tourism Association (ABT-ACTE Russia) “Theory and practice in organization of trips and activities,” which takes place at the hotel Courtyard by Marriott Kazan Kremlin. She introduced touristic alternatives in the Republic of Tatatrstan. Talking about Tatarstan she highlighted cities such as Kazan, Bolgar, Elabuga and city-island Sviyazhsk. Ekaterina Brabanova pointed out that except the great history, unique nature, advanced infrastructure and highly-developed service level, the Republic has good safety rate and all potential tourists can feel comfortable here. She has also told about various cultural events program: Festival “Velikiyi Bulgar”, “Spasskaya Yarmarka”, etc

Kazan has taken the 3rd place among Russian cities at the popularity of traveling on the Russia Day The most popular Russian touristic directions on the holiday days were found out by the touristic service Travel.tu and agency “TourStat”. According to Travel.ru, the top list was made with the reference to hotels booking in the period from June 11th to 13th in the year 2016 by backpackers. The service has found out that tourists in Saint-Petersburg in a hotel will pay 4.000 rubles for one day, in Moscow this amount will be 3.100 rubles, in Kazan - 2900, in Sochi - 2900 and in Yalta - over 4000 rubles per day. Comparing with last year the amount of online-booking in Sochi and Kazan in June has raised to one quarter this year.

The first Global conference “Development of rural tourism in the Volga Federal District: circumstances, problems and prospects” Kazan - Bolgar will be held on July 28th and 29th.
