The festival “Blooming Kazan-2016" was opened on the square in front of the puppet theater "Ekiyat". It gathered 23 organizations which promotes landscape designs. This year the firms of Kazan, Moscow, Togliatti have presented their unusual flower compositions.  Last year the festival was attended by 200 thousand people.  Except the exhibition of flower projects, workshops for young designers will be also held. The festival will be a platform for exchanging ideas and experience in the field of floral decoration, and participants will also be able to find new partners.

New playgrounds and hammocks were installed for visitors, huge cushions are laying on the green lawn where people can relax, and new art objects in the form of butterflies with light effects, umbrellas, misting system, awnings and many other things were arranged.

The first egg festival “Skorlupino 2016” was held in Pestretsy.

The project “Skorlupino” took the first place at the national forum “Our Tatarstan” in the category “My Little Homeland”  and got the highest grade by Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. The author of the project is the Pestrechinsk Department of Agricultural youth group of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The festival took place on several grounds. So, the visitors could buy original handmade products at the exhibition of handicrafts. On another ground chief cooks showed master classes on cooking dishes of minced meat and eggs, as well as sandwiches, which were eaten by the audience at the end.  Volunteers helped to hold the event. 3-meter chicken welcomed guests.

The interest of visitors attracted the “Ko-ko” zoo where they could see ducks, geese, sheep, goats and other animals.  In the “Museum of Eggs” the was an exhibition of different species of birds eggs  - parrots, ostriches, pheasants, guinea fowls, etc.

Special attention was paid to the platform where two cooks were cooking two dishes of scrambled eggs. One dish was being grilled on coals, and the second one on the electric cooker.  One thousand of eggs were used for each dish.  Scrambled eggs of this size was cooked in the republic for the first time.  Two 100-kilo pans were manufactured in advance by the Department of jet engines in KNRTU-KAI. The organizers decided to turn the cooking process into the battle of chiefs between the RT Association of Cooks and Pestrechinsk entrepreneurs who were the owners of a local coffee.

The main festival events took place on the square. And opening of the festival was held here.  The event began with a parade of participants, representatives of the poultry-farming enterprises of the republic. There were the corporations among them such as: “Chelny-Broiler”, holding company “Ak Bars”, poultry complex “Ak Bars”, LLC farming firm “Zalesny” trademarked with “Indyuzhina”, and others.
 The chicken “RMS Kid”, the symbol of the festival, headed the parade.

Eduard Diyarov, the Head of the Pestrechnsk region,  Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the RT, Mikhail Afanasiev, Head of Laishev region, and Dmitry Ivanov, Head of Chistopol region came to greet the audience.
 

On June 23th the four-decker has moored  to the pier of Bolgar town  for the first time. This has become possible after commission of a new quay wall.

The ship “Konstantin Korotkov” commits cruise via Nizhny Novgorod - Samara - Nizhny Novgorod.
 In Velikiy Bolgar tourists took a walking tour through the Bulgarian memorial estate visiting the Museum of Literature, Museum “Memorial Sign” and Bulgarian ancient settlement.

It is to be recalled that the quay wall was put in commission on May 18th.  Now river passengers can look not only at the ancient city being on the ship, but also has opportunity to land on the shore and see the famous White Mosque and whole complex of the historical monument.

Today, Sergey Ivanov, the Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism, and his deputy Catherine Barabanova, has taken part at the discussion dedicated to the presentation of touristic opportunities of Velikiy Bolgar which was held for representatives of cruise companies. It was also attended by Konstantin Anisimov, the Director General of JSC “Moscow River Shipping”, Andrew Smolin, the Director General of LLC “Vodohod”, Sergei Zhukov, the Director General of JSC “Shipping company” Tatflot “ and others.   On the agenda there was the examination of the Bolgar town quay wall, due to which cruise ships can moor to the town. It was also planned to visit the Museum of the Bulgarian civilization. Besides, the participants had the opportunity to learn in more details about the Bulgarian memorial estate:  to explore Bulgarian ancient settlement, mausoleum, White and Cathedral Mosque, Black Chamber and other places.   

On June 22th a meeting with the authors of winning projects of the 6th Republican Youth Forum has been held at the State Committee for Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting were attended by Liana Saetova, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, and Artur Abdrashitov, the head of the tourist industry development department. There was a presentation of projects such as:  “Souvenirs of Kukmor” -  souvenirs made of felt, “Creating of an interactive guide to the island-town Sviyazhsk” - print, electronic and audio-visual reference, “Tour through villages” - tour for schoolchildren that includes visiting of ethnic villages and                 acquaintance with the population, life and culture, and the festival “Skorlupino”.  At the close of the meeting It was decided to provide support and assistance to authors to implement their projects.  

The museum of the Gun Yard invites to spend your time with the fun at the exhibition “The secrets of the Zlatoystartisants” on the 24th of the June at the 18.00 o’clock. The informative and exciting eveningin the atmosphere of the last century is waiting for the museum guests. Today the Chairman of the of the State Committee of Tourism of the Republic of Tatarstan Sergey Ivanov made a report on the field meeting of the Presidium of the State council of the Republic of Tatarstan. He told about results and future developments of the touristic branch in the Republic of Tatarstan: “The main directions and measures for the development of the touristic branch in the Tatarstan Republic are stated in the State program  “The development of the tourism and hospitality in the TatarstnRepulic for 2014-2020 years”

“Father, mother and I – medieval family”. It is the name, that was given to the competition of dresses for the spectators of the all-Russia medieval festival “VelikiiBolgar”. What is the main condition of the contest? Tobringthewholefamilytothefestival! All participants will be given festival coins – bulgariki, which are the own currency of the festival “VelikiiBolgar”. Different features of the festival: to fire of medieval weaponsand  battle machines, to try on armor and so on, may be purchased with these coins.

Sergey Ivanov, the Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee on tourism, presented the tourist opprtunities of Tatarstan, during a business visit as part of the official delegation the Republic of Korea. The delegation was led by Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan President.  The trip is held from June 18 to 20th.   Sergey Ivanov spoke not only about the main touristic sights, such as Bulgaria, Sviyazhsk and Kazan Kremlin, but also about the rich playbill of tourist activities, a high level of security, natural resources, and much more. He also noted the fact that a rally route section will soon pass through Tatarstan.

The program also included a visit of the techno-valley Pangё, exhibition hall I-KAIST, inspection of the waterfront of the river Cheonggyecheon, two-sided meetings and participation at the Korea-Tatarstan business forum.
