The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism discussed joint tourist routes with colleagues from the Chinese city of Hangzhou
Negotiations with a Chinese delegation took place at the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism. The delegation was headed by the Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Hangzhou. The event focused on developing bilateral cooperation and increasing tourist traffic between the regions.
A working meeting was held at the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism with a delegation from the Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Hangzhou.
The participants included Aigul Balakhontseva, Deputy Chair of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Tourism, Hong Ye and Zhu Lan, Deputy Directors of the Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Hangzhou, and Liu Caidé, Chairman of the Board of Hangzhou Kangyi International Travel Company. The parties highlighted the high potential for mutual tourist exchange and their interest in strengthening partnership ties.
During the meeting, the Chinese side presented tourist products and the cultural heritage of Zhejiang Province, while representatives of Tatarstan gave a detailed overview of the republic’s tourist potential. The parties discussed opportunities for jointly developing tourist routes.
The participants noted the availability of direct regular flights from Kazan to Shanghai, which creates favourable conditions for increasing tourist traffic.
Developing international cooperation and establishing direct ties between tourism operator communities is intended to help achieve the goals of the national project “Tourism and Hospitality”, in particular, tripling the export of tourism services by 2030.
