The festivals "NUR" and "Living Legends" from Kazan, the festival of historical reconstruction "Elbeden" from the Pestrechinsky district won prizes at the XIV international award in the field of event tourism Russian Event Awards.
Projects from the Republic of Tatarstan have won awards at the XIV International Award in the field of event tourism Russian Event Awards (REA). The final of the prestigious competition and the award ceremony took place at the end of November in Nizhny Novgorod.
A total of 473 applications were submitted for the award this year from 63 regions of Russia, Belarus and South Ossetia. 370 projects reached the final, among which works from Tatarstan turned out to be among the most successful.
Kazan and other cities of the republic distinguished themselves in several key nominations:
2nd place - global metalworking forum "TEMP" and business forum "TIME: Russia — India" (Kazan);
Grand Prix - All-Russian Festival of historical reconstruction "Elbeden" (Pestretsy village);
3rd place – "Night Bike Fest 2025" (Kazan);
2nd place - beach market (Laishevo);
1st place - the international festival of media art "NUR" (Kazan);
2nd place - the project "Kazan. A journey into the past", organized within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality" (Kazan);
1st place - theater festival "Living legends and tales" (Kazan, Kazan Kremlin);
3rd place - museum-reserve "Ostrov-grad Sviyazhsk" (Sviyazhsk village);
2nd place - Sabantuy Park (Nizhnekamsk).
The Russian Event Awards in 2025 is held in memory of its founder Gennady Shatalov. It is the main professional award in the event tourism industry, recognizing the best practices and projects that attract tourists to the regions.
